Youths for Ruto 2027 (YR'27) Rally Kenyan Youth Behind Peace and Progress.

Mark Ouko, National Youth leader for Ruto 2027 movement.

Nairobi, Kenya, June 25, 2025

Under the dynamic leadership of National Convener Mark Ouko, the Youths for Ruto 2027 movement is making waves across Kenya's political landscape with a powerful message of peace and progress. The group has taken a firm stand against what it describes as "dangerous attempts by selfish politicians to manipulate young Kenyans into violence and anarchy."

In an exclusive interview ahead of their highly anticipated national launch, Ouko emphasized the movement's unwavering commitment to constructive engagement. "We represent the future of this nation, and we refuse to be used as tools for destruction," he stated passionately. "While others may preach chaos, we're building a movement focused on real solutions - jobs, innovation, and national unity under President Ruto's transformative leadership."

The movement's endorsement of President William Ruto's 2027 re-election bid comes after careful consideration of his administration's youth-focused achievements. "From the revolutionary Hustler Fund to the groundbreaking digital jobs program and the affordable housing initiative, President Ruto has demonstrated unprecedented commitment to youth empowerment," Ouko explained. "This isn't about blind loyalty, it's about recognizing tangible progress and protecting it."
All eyes are now on the movement's grand launch event scheduled for June 25 at Nairobi's iconic KICC. The gathering, expected to draw thousands of youth from across the country, will feature Deputy President Kithure Kindiki as chief guest alongside a host of UDA leaders and influential youth voices. Organizers promise the event will be more than just a political rally - it's being billed as a national conversation about Kenya's future.

As political temperatures begin to rise ahead of the 2027 elections, YR'27 is positioning itself as a moderating force. "We're seeing worrying signs of politicians trying to radicalize our youth," Ouko warned. "Our message is clear: the path to meaningful change runs through constructive engagement, not burned tires and destroyed property. Kenya's youth deserve better than to be used as cannon fodder in political games."

The movement is rolling out an ambitious nationwide recruitment drive, combining grassroots mobilization with digital campaigns. With its focus on issue-based politics and youth empowerment, YR'27 is quickly emerging as a significant player in Kenya's political arena - one that could potentially reshape youth engagement in the coming election cycle.
